Do you Care About The Royal Wedding ?

Personally, I see why girls, and stay at home moms are excited but I don't think that the excessive news coverage it has been getting is warranted. Especially with the middle eastern uprisings, Libya, Afghanistan, and budget problems that we as Americans are facing here at home. That said, it is a good distraction and seems to make people happy. Is all the hype warranted? Are you watching the coverage?

-And if you do watch the coverage, be sure to watch Fox News.

Who Will Run in 2012

Hey guys, this is my first post in a while and I would like for this blog to become more active.Over the past few weeks many names have been popping to possibly take on the President in 2012. One of the names in Donald Trump. I would bet that he will run, but I don't think that he can last long in the race. He is not socially conservative enough for Iowa, but will probably do well in New Hampshire but early primary states like South Carolina will most likely not go for him. My official endorsement for the Republican nomination is Governor Mike Huckabee. Even though he hasn't announced, according to Fox News he is unofficially exploring a run. He won Iowa last time and will probably win it again, New Hampshire will probably go to Mitt Romney but Huckabee will take South Carolina for sure and will do well in the Midwest and swing states such as Virginia, and Missouri. Some others to watch out for are former Governor Tim Pawlenty who is very serious about a run, and Michelle Bachman who I think is very smart and able to raise the money needed to run a formidable campaign. Former Governor Mitt Romney is the second most likely to get the nomination (behind Huckabee) but he will have to answer for his support of Obama style healthcare while Governor of Massachusetts and southern voters may have concerns over his Mormon faith. I also do not think Sarah Palin should or is running. Newt Gingrich who is very connected in Washington living in McLean just outside the city will probably make a run for the white house. I think Gingrich may be the surprise candidate that makes real waves in this election. It should be interesting to watch. If I missed any candidates or if you have comments please put them below.
